SOS-BLS was an ambitious 100-day project in cooperation with TIMTEC Defence and AFormX for the Slovenian MOD, supporting the OK-BLS program in developing a missile-armed unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The focus of the supporting project was to design and develop a digital twin and simulator of the OK-BLSUAV.
Guardiaris successfully integrated the X-Plane 12 flight simulator into the proprietary GUARDTM Engine and produced a simulation platform consisting of an instructor station, pilot station, sensor operator station, and a gunner station capable of dual-function operation. The final result aids in the testing, evaluation, and operator training for further OK-BLS UAV development, significantly reducing the costs and risks involved.
The project was Guardiaris' first venture into the Aerospace sector, pushing the boundaries of training and opening up new possibilities for future development.
