Visitors were amazed by Guardiaris’ technology innovation, products and two outstanding EU co-funded projects ABITS and FIIST. ABITS development project, led by Guardiaris in collaboration with companies Viewpointsystem GmbH and Smartex, is creating an indoor tactical training solution with integrated data-driven performance indicators. ABITS aims to enhance military simulation and training with quantitative measurements of trainees' psychophysical states based on real-time monitoring from non-invasive physiological sensors.
Second project Future Integrated Indoor Soldier Training − FIIST presents the unique concept of tactical training of soldier squad with multi-types of digitized weapon replicas and remote weapon station residing on infantry fighting vehicle, while all participate within the same simulated battle scenario. Project includes also a generalized qualification procedure for similar simulator systems and FIIST interoperation with other simulators based on HLA distributed simulation framework. Project is carried out by Guardiaris, Instalaza, ITEC and Madritsch weapon Technology.
Moreover, Guardiaris is proud to be strongly present at disruptive technology conference at IT2 EC, DisTec. Staš Hvala took the floor with a great presentation "Building dynamic worlds: how merging situational awareness and digital twins can lead tounparalleled realism." Primož Peterca, CEO of Guardiaris, was part of the final panel discussing the vision of military training: Gamechangers: Looking to the future of military training through SSE.
